Mercer Island Girls' Gymnastics Beats Interlake, 153-141

MI High School varsity team starts season strong

Mercer Island Girls' Gymnastics beat Interlake, 153 - 141, at their first meet of the season last Thursday night 11/30/17 at Interlake. Freshman Ava Motroni took second in the all-around for the team, with a score of 31.750 and going #1 on beam. The team swept bars, with freshman Susie Lepow at #1, freshman Ally Lavin at #2, and junior Mya Levin at #3. Lavin also went #3 on floor, and sophomore Emery Sampson took #2 and junior Mya Levin #3 on vault. The team's next meet is Thursday, 12/7, at home against Juanita at 7 pm.
