Mercer Island Police Help Put Out Bellevue Boat Fire

The fire broke out just after midnight Thursday along Pleasure Point Lane, according to authorities.

BELLEVUE, WA — Firefighters and police from Bellevue and Mercer Island responded to a boat fire early Thursday morning at Pleasure Point.

The fire broke out just after midnight along Pleasure Point Lane, according to Mercer Island police. The 40-foot boat was tied to the dock, and eventually sank. The dock was slightly damaged in the fire.

Mercer Island police used a patrol boat to spray the fire with water as Bellevue fire attacked from land.
