Mercer Island Snow Estimates: Here's How Much to Expect
The National Weather Service has released estimates of how much snow will fall overnight Sunday.

MERCER ISLAND, WA - The region is under a winter storm warning, with the National Weather Service predicting between 2 and 9 inches of snow for cities around Puget Sound.
On Sunday afternoon, the weather service released estimates for how much snow could fall in specific areas by the time the storm tapers off on Monday afternoon.
Between 3 and 5 inches could fall in Mercer Island, with more at the highest points on the island, according to the National Weather Service.

The heaviest snow is expected to fall at higher elevations south of Seattle. Snow totals vary widely around Puget Sound, from 6.7 inches in Bellevue to just 3.5 inches across Lake Washington in Seattle.
Snow should begin to fall between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday, although the white stuff was already falling in parts of Pierce County and southern King County on Sunday afternoon.
