Mercer Island Spring Recycling Event Is This Weekend
You can recycle odd items like computers and appliances, but bring a donation for the Mercer Island Food Pantry.
MERCER ISLAND, WA - De-clutter your attic, garage or, basement this weekend with the city's spring recycling event.
Beginning Saturday morning, Mercer Island residents can hand over large items like computers and appliances for recycling, and all it costs is a non-perishable food donation.

All residents are invited to safely dispose of the old equipment, electronics, appliances, and other household items that are cluttering their basement or garage. There will once again be a limited supply of highly discounted rain barrels (just $25), as well as document shredding. Please also bring a non-perishable food or cash donation for the City's Food Pantry.
The event runs 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the south parking lot at Luther Burbank. Call (206) 275-7608 if you have questions.
