More Mercer Island Bikeshare Hubs Coming
LimeBike will make sure the hub locations are stocked with bikes.

MERCER ISLAND, WA - Mercer Island is expanding the city's pilot bikeshare program. Two new hubs for the bikeshare bikes are being created so residents can access the bikes more reliably.
Here's more from the city of Mercer Island:
In mid-July, the City launched a 3-month pilot bikeshare program with LimeBike, offering a rental fleet of 25 electric-assist bicycles available to any rider with an account, 24 hours/day, 7 days a week.

Although the bikes may be ridden anywhere, including off-Island, they are restocked daily at key locations ("hubs") to allow some level of predictability. After researching possible expansions, and based on requests from the public, the City is adding two new hubs serving the Mid-Island and South-Island areas:
- The MI Congregational Church (4545 Island Crest Way)
- The South End Shopping Center, adjacent to Pioneer Park, at the corner of 84th Avenue SE and SE 68th Street
Bicycles can be returned to a hub, or parked in any legal, public location, and must not block access or create safety hazards. Standard E-Bike fees apply: $1 to unlock, then 15 cents/minute to ride. Try it today! Learn more at: www.mercergov.org/Bikeshare
