NYHS, MI's Jewish High School offering $5000 Covid Grants
Local Jewish High School offers $5000 Covid Relief Tuition Grants to all incoming students for the 20-21 school year.

The Board of the Northwest Yeshiva High School (NYHS), Mercer Island's Jewish High
School, announced a one-time $5000 Covid Relief Tuition Grants to all students for the 20-21 school year.
In 2019, the J-Z Greenberg Foundation was established to support NYHS and one
other local school. This Foundation is named for Jack and Zeana Greenberg, long time Seattle residents and generous benefactors of NYHS. Jack grew up during the Great Depression and he often shared his regret that due to the financial crisis, he, and many like him, were never able to receive a Jewish education. Jack’s commitment to Jewish education was lifelong. He believed that high quality and inclusive Jewish schools, like NYHS are the key to ensuring a vibrant Jewish future. Jack died in 2018 at the age of 94.
