PTA Reflections Exhibition of MIHS Student Photography

The PTA Reflections Committee is excited to announce the Mercer Island High School Students’ Photography Exhibition, Within Reach, to be held at Mercer Island Library through August. This exhibition exemplifies the talent of Mercer Island students and we hope that, in displaying this work, it will serve to inspire other young people to embrace their creativity.

The Reflections Program is a National PTA and Washington State PTA cultural arts competition. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. The six competition categories include: Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography and Film Production.

Please call by the library during August to view this exciting new exhibition. Please also ask your students to look out for details on how to enter the Reflections PTA Competition when they return to school in September. The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Heroes Around Us’ and the closing date for entries will be Wednesday November 28th 2018.
