Runaway Teen 'Kassie' Carter-Allensworth Seen In Bellevue: Police
The 17-year-old Mercer Island teen left home Saturday night and is likely with her boyfriend.
MERCER ISLAND, WA - Mercer Island police on Tuesday said that runaway Mercer Island teen Ksenia "Kassie" Carter-Allensworth, 17, was spotted in Bellevue on Sunday. Police believe Carter-Allensworth is with her 16-year-old boyfriend Chad Chase of Fall City.
Mercer Island police spokesman Commander Jeff Magnan said Tuesday investigators do not believe a crime occurred, which is why the teens are considered runaways as opposed to missing. Police, however, are still looking for the teens as if they were missing.
"It's a fine line, but it doesn't change the way we're investigating this," he said.
