Service Dog Missing On Mercer Island

Grayson and his mother, Gracie, went missing from a home on the west side of the island on Thursday night.

MERCER ISLAND, WA - The service dog of a man visiting the island for Christmas went missing on Thursday night and he is asking for locals to keep an eye out.

The service dog Grayson and his mom, Gracie, an 8-year-old gray lab, went missing Thursday night. They were last at a home along the 4300 block of East Mercer Way. Grayson's owner, Mark Mathewson, is visiting Mercer Island from LaConner.

Gracie has a collar and is microchipped. Someone spotted two dogs on Friday morning near 84th Avenue Southeast, but it wasn't confirmed that it was Gracie and Grayson.
