Small Power Outage Hits Mercer Island

More than 100 people on the north end of the island were without power Wednesday.

MERCER ISLAND, WA - Approximately 136 Puget Sound Energy customers on Mercer Island were without power Wednesday afternoon, the utility is reporting.

The outage began just before 2 p.m., and PSE estimates power should be restored by about 4 p.m. Utility crews were still trying to find the cause of the outage as of 2:30 p.m.

The outage was centered in an area along Island Crest Way between I-90 and Southeast 34th Street.
