Teneriffe Falls Rescue: Mercer Island Man Plucked From Cliff
Mountain rescue crews located the stranded hiker on Saturday.

NORTH BEND, WA - Local volunteer mountain rescue crews retrieved a stranded hiker from near a popular hiking destination on Saturday.
King County Search and Rescue and Seattle Mountain Rescue responded to the Teneriffe Falls area on Saturday on a report of a stranded hiker on a cliff. The crews located the Mercer Island man and ushered him to safety, according to the King County Sheriff's Office. There were no injuries reported.

King County Search and Rescue and Seattle Mountain Rescue are nonprofit groups that provide volunteer support for technical searches in wilderness areas around Western Washington.
