Town Car Vaults Off Driveway, Lands on its Roof: Mercer Island Police Log
A vehicle listed as a Lincoln Town Car limousine rolled down a steep driveway, vaulted off a concrete slab and landed on its roof, ending up about 30 feet from the edge of Lake Washington, according to the Mercer Island Police records.
A vehicle listed as a Lincoln Town Car limousine rolled down a steep driveway, vaulted off a concrete slab and landed on its roof, ending up about 30 feet from the edge of Lake Washington, according to the Mercer Island Police records.
The occupant was not injured in the crash, which occurred around 7:30 a.m. Feb. 3 in the 7700 block of W. Mercer Way, according to the Mercer Island Police records.
The car was not leaking fluids and was left in place until it can be determined how it will be removed, according to the police records.

The information on this incident came from the Mercer Island Police Department press board. Other incidents on Mercer Island include:
- A woman reported that her son left his bicycle in the bushes with a cable lock through the wheel, in the 4000 block of 82nd Avenue Southeast, around 11 a.m. Feb. 4. When he returned, the bicycle was gone.
