What's Open, What's Closed: Presidents Day

Here's a list of what offices will be open for the Washington's Birthday federal holiday -- commonly called Presidents Day -- on Monday, Feb. 18:

City of Mercer Island: closed.

King County Library System: closed.

Mercer Island School District: closed for mid-winter break this week. Students will return on Monday, Feb. 25.

King County government: closed.

King County Metro Transit: Most buses on normal schedule. Click here for details.

King County Transfer Stations: open.

State offices: closed

Washington State Ferries: All routes on normal weekday schedule.

Federal government: closed.

U.S. Postal Service: No delivery.

Republic Services (Allied Waste): regular schedule.
