Windermere Real Estate Promotes Diversity with Three Dollar Bill Cinema Sponsorship
Windermere Real Estate/Capitol Hill supports Three Dollar Bill Cinema.
Windermere Real Estate/Capitol Hill was proud to be the main sponsor for the Three Dollar Bill Cinema 9th Annual Dinner & Auction. “The hugely successful ‘Top Gun’ event celebrated diversity and was widely supported by the LGBT community, and, even better, it raised $176,000 for Three Dollar Bill Cinema,” said Windermere Capitol Hill’s owner, Pat Grimm. “Windermere Capitol Hill is proud to have brokers who are deeply invested in the community, and who commit to support organizations like Three Dollar Bill Cinema that promote respect and make such a significant impact on society.”
Three Dollar Bill Cinema provides access to films by, for and about LGBT people and their families as well as a forum for LGBT filmmakers to share and discuss their work. It curates themed screenings throughout the year and produces programs in partnership with community organizations throughout the region.
“The LGBT community is such a big part of Seattle’s Capitol Hill, which is one of the most diverse and vibrant communities on the West Coast,” said Grimm. “We celebrate that. We promote it. We live it.”

Three Dollar Bill Cinema’s 9th Annual Dinner & Auction featured amazing costumes, a dazzling performance by Scott Shoemaker, an inspiring speech by Mayor Ed Murray, and the enthusiasm of over 300 guests. “It was definitely a night to remember,” said Grimm.
Windermere Capitol Hill also announced it will be presenting its own float in the June 25-26, 2016, Seattle PrideFest, the largest Pride street festival in the Pacific Northwest.
