Teen Killed, 3 Injured In High Speed Crash Near Puyallup
Deputies warned residents to avoid the area following a crash on Pioneer Way Wednesday.

PUYALLUP, WA — A teenager was killed and three others hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash just outside Puyallup Wednesday afternoon.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department first reported the crash around 2 p.m., saying a high speed crash on Pioneer Way had closed the road in both directions at Stewart Street.
The road was expected to remain closed through the evening, and commuters were advised to avoid the area if possible.

Deputies said four teens were inside the car, which was speeding as it headed north when the driver lost control near Steward Avenue, sending the car careening through the embankment and up a telephone pole.
