PUYALLUP, WA — The city this week will host a reception for local artist Maren Williams, whose artwork has been displayed at various businesses and events throughout Puget Sound, and is currently showcased on the fifth floor of City Hall.
The free reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. June 20 at Puyallup City Hall, 333 S. Meridian, though Williams' work can be seen in the gallery Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A graduate of Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, Williams' "vivid, colorful work in watercolor, acrylic, oil and mixed media" has been seen at Meeker Mansion, the Washington State Fair, Puyallup Powwows, Seattle's Starfish Studio, and at the Eatonville Arts Festival, among a plethora of others, according to city officials.
