Construction On E. Pioneer Begins This Weekend In Puyallup
East Pioneer, from 25th Street SE to Shaw Road E, will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for five nights beginning this weekend.
PUYALLUP, WA — Overnight road work along East Pioneer in Puyallup will require nightly closures for roughly five days starting this weekend, according to city planners. The construction work is reportedly related to the Pioneer Crossing development.
The closure will take place on East Pioneer, from Shaw Road East to around 25th Street Southeast, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, May 12. Officials expect the work to last until roughly May 17.
Local law enforcement will be present on both sides of the construction zone during the work period. Drivers should plan for delays and detours through the area.
