Deadly Drive-By Shooting In Puyallup, Police Investigating
Officers are on scene of a shooting on 8th St NW, and are asking everyone to avoid the area. Here's what we know.
PUYALLUP, WA — Puyallup police are investigating after a deadly drive-by shooting in Puyallup early Monday afternoon.
According to the Puyallup Police Department, at around 2:35 p.m. their officers were called to the 600 block of 8th St NW.
When they arrived, they say they found "numerous expended shell cartridges" and a man lying outside near the front porch of a home. The victim, only identified as a male in his 20s, was pronounced dead shortly after.

Witnesses tell police that the man had been killed in a drive-by shooting, and that the suspect had been driving a tan Dodge Durango, Chevrolet Blazer or similar SUV.
Several roads in the surrounding area were closed for much of the afternoon, but have since reopened.

Officers continue to investigate and are asking the public to call their tip line if they know anything about the shooting.
