Heart Medication Stolen From Puyallup Porch
Ron Kraft posted a home surveillance video of the brazen porch theft on his Facebook page, asking for help to identify the suspect.
PUYALLUP, WA — A local heart transplant recipient this week said a porch pirate stole the medication he needs to live, and that he captured the whole thing on his home security camera.
Ron Kraft on Monday posted the security video on his Facebook page, asking the community for help identifying and locating the thief.
Speaking with Seattle's KIRO7, Kraft said after receiving his new heart last year he needs to take the medication every 12 hours or his body begins to reject the transplant.

"Things just start going all wrong," he said. "It's life or death."
After contacting the pharmacy from which his medicine was sent and learning it had been delivered on schedule, Kraft reportedly checked his home surveillance cameras and discovered the disturbing truth.

"I was shocked," Kraft told KIRO7. "I was at work and I was thinking, 'I can't believe I'm looking at this' … I was panicking."
Kraft filed a report with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department and posted the video online, seeking tips. Anyone who recognizes the man is encouraged to PCSD detectives; reference case No. 19-196-01513.
