Nickelback Coming to Puyallup, Local Officials Warn
Officials are saying that Canadian rock group Nickelback will appear at the state fair in Puyallup in September.
PUYALLUP, WA - Officials are warning residents that the post-grunge rock group Nickelback will make a stop here in September.
Nickelback will kick off the Washington State Fair's concert series on Sept. 1. Officials ask that residents remain calm and are saying that tickets will be available on Feb. 8 for Fair E-club members, and for the general public on Feb. 10.
Nickelback - also known as "the world's most hated band" - was formed in the mid-1990s in Alberta, Canada, and the current lineup consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Chad Kroeger, multi-instrumentalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair.

Despite the notorious reputation, the band has scored massive hits with songs like "How You Remind Me," "Rockstar," and "Photograph." The band is currently on its "Feed the Machine" tour, and will make stops in Portland and Spokane at the end of summer - in case you can't make the Puyallup show.
The Washington State Fair will also host country artist Jason Aldean as part of its concert series. Aldean will play on Sept. 24, and tickets go on sale Feb. 4.
