Puyallup Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash Sunday: Sheriff

TACOMA, WA — A Puyallup man was identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle versus truck collision that occurred Sunday in unincorporated Pierce County.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department on Monday said 27-year-old Eric Pelissier around 11:30 p.m. July 14 was traveling north in the southbound lanes of Canyon Road East when he hit a truck in the 17100-block.

Following the crash, which reportedly did not injure anyone else involved, Pelissier was taken to Tacoma General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Pelissier was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, sheriff's officials said, adding that Pelissier was at a bar before the crash.
