PUYALLUP, WA — Starting at 7 a.m. Monday every city-managed park across Puyallup reopened to the public, with the notable exception of the fields at the Puyallup Valley Sports Complex.

The reopening includes parking lots, trailheads and all open spaces. However, a few features remain closed, including restrooms, play structures, athletic fields and picnic shelters, according to City of Puyallup Parks & Recreation. Trash cans will be available at most parks, but at some locations residents will be asked to take their trash or recycling home with them when they leave.

Parks and Recreation says tennis courts, picnic tables and other limited-space activities still should not be used by groups of people who are not from the same household. The city also says that visitors should avoid parks that are overcrowded, and try to keep a six-foot space between themselves and everyone else. The city is also asking residents to limit their visits to two hours or less.
