Puyallup School Bus Hits Pedestrian Crossing Meridian
The man was walking across a left turn lane when he was hit.
SOUTH HILL, WA — A Puyallup School District bus carrying three high-schoolers hit a man walking in the road just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Washington State Patrol says the man was walking through a left turn lane, for unknown reasons, when he was hit by the bus heading south on Meridian East at South 187th Street, between South Hill and Graham.
He was taken to a nearby trauma center. The driver and all students on board the bus were uninjured. An investigation into the crash continues.
