Puyallup Urges Caution For Commuters At Downtown Intersection

PUYALLUP, WA — The City of Puyallup is asking commuters to be extra careful at the intersection of 5th and West Main over the next few months.

A recent construction project closed the intersection for some time, and while the intersection has been fully reopened to traffic, the city says motorists will still need to slow down and be careful in the area because the roadway isn't totally finished yet. They say the road has been planed in preparation for the installation of new pavement, and will be left in this condition for about two months, when in mid-October crews finish prepping the area for new traffic signal foundations and wiring.
