TACOMA, WA — A commercial building in Tacoma was severely damaged in a fire early Thursday.

According to Tacoma Fire, just before 4:45 a.m. their crews were called out to a building on fire in the 3700 block of Pacific Avenue.

By the time they arrived, the building's roof had already partially collapsed — so they switched focus towards preventing the fire from spreading to other buildings.
