Brightmont Academy Student of the Month from Redmond Campus

Steve came to Brightmont Academy - Redmond in September of 2015 as a 9th grader. He chose Brightmont Academy because he wanted to complete his high school credits at an accelerated pace and graduate by the spring of 2017. As a result of his hard work and dedication, he completed requirements for grades 9 and 10 during the last academic year (2015-16), finished 11th grade credits in December 2016, and is poised to graduate in June 2017.

Instructors recognize Steve’s ambition and steadfastness in working toward his goals. Teacher Ms. Jacqueline Nauriyal remarks, "Steve is always ready and prepared to start class each day and he works hard to accomplish the goals he has set for himself." Math specialist Sushama Ghate worked with Steve for three courses. She says, “He is a fast learner and serious about his studies. I used to call him ‘Express Train.’ He is polite and quiet.”

When asked about his plans after graduation, Steve’s dry sense of humor came through in his response, “relax.” Meanwhile, he is considering college options and various career paths. He has much gratitude for his school saying, “Brightmont has helped me achieve my goal in finishing high school in two years.”
