Burn Ban Issued For Unincorporated Areas In King County

With dry weather expected for the next few days, most outdoor burning is prohibited until further notice.

KING COUNTY, WA — The King County Fire Marshal on Monday issued a Phase 1 burn ban for unincorporated areas, as a red flag warning went into effect for the western slopes of the central Cascades.

Hot, dry weather is expected to continue throughout the region through much of the week, increasing the risk of fires.

The red flag warning Monday was set to expire at 8 p.m. King County's Phase 1 burn ban will continue until further notice.
