City Of Redmond Urges July 4 Fireworks Safety
Violators of this law may be charged with a misdemeanor and are subject to fines.

Redmond, WA – The City of Redmond Fire and Police Departments would like to remind residents that it is unlawful to sell, possess, use or explode fireworks within Redmond City limits (Redmond Municipal Code: 9.26.020). Violators of this law may be charged with a misdemeanor and are subject to fines.

When to call 911:

- If there is a firework-related injury
- A fire has started
- You observe someone using dangerous or banned fireworks
- You have found a suspicious device such as a pipe with a fuse coming out of it— Call 911 and do not touch it
