Work starts March 1 on fiber optic cable installation along more than three miles in the Union Hill area of Redmond, according to the city of Redmond.Â
The 3.39 mile project starts at Union Hill Road from 196th Avenue NE to 178th Place NE to 180th Avenue NE continuing on to Redmond Way to 164th Avenue NE to NE 85th Street and finishing at 161st Avenue NE.
Fiber installation work will be done by Zayo Group along the entire route and is expected to be complete by April 12.
