Give Crooks a Going Away Party, Summer Rock Camp, & More: This Week in Redmond

We share just a sampling of what's up in and around Redmond this week, Aug. 5-11.

There's always a fun time to be had in Redmond in the summer. Here's just a sampling of events coming up in and around Redmond this week, and if you have events to share with the community we invite you to post them on Patch:

Tuesday, Aug. 6

  • A record 51 neighborhoods have registered in Redmond for National Night Out Against Crime parties. The police department, fire department, city council, mayor, and others will attend parties between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. If you've never participated it's a great event for fun, friends, and community!  If you don't know your neighbors--this is a great opportunity to meet them.
  • And if you're neighborhood doesn't have anything planned, consider visiting Safe and Sound Sammamish. Tour various emergency response vehicles, learn safety tips,
Wednesday, Aug. 7

Friday, Aug. 9
  • Kirkland Summerfest. Kirkland’s largest festival of music, art, food, and culture, runs Friday through Sunday at Marina Park. It's free to enter and fun for all.
