Lake Washington School District Seeks Feedback

The school district wants to hear your thoughts on planning for the future amid rapid enrollment growth.

Redmond, Wash. – Lake Washington School District (LWSD) needs your input on planning for future facilities to accommodate growth in the district to share with the Facility Advisory Committee (FAC). The Facility Advisory Committee was formed in November 2019 and will make recommendations to accommodate the district’s rapid enrollment growth and continue to provide quality learning environments.

The Facility Advisory Committee will be using your feedback as it develops recommendations for facility strategies to align with the district’s Strategic Plan. The Superintendent and School Board will consider these recommendations as the district plans for future ballot measures to fund construction.

The Facility Advisory Committee is using an online feedback tool called Thoughtexchange to gather community input. Thoughexchange allows important ideas and perspectives to be shared and prioritized.

The specific question that the community is being asked is: What are the most important perspectives to consider as we plan for future facilities to accommodate growth in our district?

This community feedback survey will be open until February 12, 2020.
