Attendees will enjoy ice cream while they learn about the Society’s activities over the last year, including its popular Saturday Speaker Series, marching with a “Prohibition” float in the Redmond Derby Days parade; and networking with the Redmond community and businesses at events like the City of Redmond’s annual open-air night market, “So Bazaar”, and OneRedmond’s “Mingle & Jingle” program.
President John Oftebro will present the Society’s goals for 2020, with a focus on the move to the Old Redmond Schoolhouse in August 2020 and the need for interim space. There will be fun fundraising opportunities, and plenty of volunteers on hand to renew or receive new memberships; but don’t forget to enter the raffles for a chance to win coffee cards, hand-knit items, pet portraits, and Redmond Historical Society books.
