Redmond Police Host Women's Safety Class On April 22
The police department is hosting a virtual safety workshop this month, highlighting the best personal safety practices for women.
REDMOND, WA — The Redmond Police Department's latest community course will focus on women's personal safety, including tips on how to stay safe at home, on the job and during social outings.
This month's course will take place virtually, over Microsoft Teams, and will focus on the best practices for staying safe in daily life and avoiding becoming the victim of a crime. While it is not designed as a self-defense course, officers will discuss the pros and cons of different weapons, including how to legally own and safely carry them.
