Redmond Saturday Market Returns For 2021 Season This Weekend

REDMOND, WA — May 1 marks the beginning of the Redmond Saturday Market's 46th year, with dozens of local food and crafts sellers welcoming customers every weekend through the end of October.

This year, the market will be at its new permanent home at Parking Lot D of Overlake Christian Chuch. Coronavirus-related health and safety protocols remain in place, including distancing and mask use requirements.

Here is the complete list of protocols:

• Keep adequate social distance.
• Wear a mask while at the market.
• Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
• Stay home if you are sick or if you have been in contact with someone who is sick.
• Shopping hours are firmly between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. No early entry will be allowed.
• Enjoy “to go” food in the new food court and remain seated while eating.
• The food court tables and chairs are set properly distanced, please don’t move them.
• Only four people per table at a time from the same family.
• Visitors may also sit on the grass hill if they maintain social distance from other groups.

This year, the market welcomes several new vendors to the fold, including more farmers, crafters and food-sellers. A complete list of participants is available each week on the Redmond Saturday Market website.

Other new offerings include a food court area, which gives a space for families to enjoy their meals at distanced tables and chairs, or seated on the grass hill. Music is also back on the docket this year, with weekly performances to be announced soon.
