Redmond Whole Foods Gets First Local Amazon Local Pickup Center
Amazon shoppers can get free same-day delivery and return items for free at the new pickup center concept.

REDMOND, WA — The Redmond Whole Foods is getting a new Amazon pickup service that mirrors Amazon Locker, but with a few more perks.
Amazon Prime members can get free same-day shipping using the Redmond pickup location for certain items. Amazon Locker only offers free two-day shipping. You can also drop off returns for free, including boxes for repackaging your items.
This is the first such pickup location in the Seattle area, according to a company spokesperson.

The pickup center also keeps shoppers inside the company's ecosystem, and, perhaps, gets more people into the Amazon-owned Whole Foods chain.
The service gives people "the ability to pick up their Amazon order and then shop for the groceries they need," a press release said.
