REDMOND, WA - Redmond's revered French pastry shop Midori Bakery will close its cafe at the end of Aprilt, according to the company. After that, Midori will sell its pastries as a wholesaler.

The Midori owners posted a statement on the bakery's website recently explaining the closure:

The Midori Bakery family would like to thank the Redmond community for an amazing four years at our downtown Redmond location. It saddens us to announce that Sunday, April 28, will be our last day.
The bakery will be transitioning in to becoming a wholesale provider for local cafes all over the eastside, so please check our website and instagram for more information on where to find our pastries. We are also planning on reopening our Willows Road location for weekend and holiday pop-ups— Hooray!
It has been our absolute pleasure serving you and becoming a small part of your families, memories, and celebrations. Thank you for your support and we will see you again very soon!

Midori, 16505 Redmond Way, has been hailed for its croissants, but sells a huge array of treats. Midori pastries are already available to buy at the Kirkland and Sammamish Metropolitan Market locations.
