Road Closures In Redmond This Week Due To Light Rail Work

From The City of Remond:Starting today, the contractor building Sound Transit’s East Link extension will begin setting girders that will support the future light rail elevated guideway in Redmond’s Overlake neighborhood. The work will take place at night, and will require the following road closures:

Road closure schedule (pending any unforeseen delays):

• Tuesday, May 15 – Thursday, May 17 - The 148th Street on-ramp to eastbound SR 520 will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. nightly
• Thursday, May 17 – Saturday, May 19 - The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to northbound 148th Street will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. nightly
• Friday, May 18 – Saturday, May 19 - The HOV lane on eastbound SR 520 at 148th Street will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
• Wednesday, May 23 – 148th Avenue NE at SR 520 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
• Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24 – SR 520 exit ramp to southbound 148th Avenue NE from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
