See Inside Redmond's New Timberline Middle School

The Redmond Ridge-area school is still under construction, but will open in September, according to district officials.

REDMOND, WA — The Lake Washington School District's newest middle school is almost ready for students. The district this week released a new video tour of Timberline Middle School in the Redmond Ridge area.

Timberline will hold about 900 students when it opens for the 2019-20 school year in September. It's one of four new or remodeled schools that will open this fall.

The other schools include a rebuilt Peter Kirk and Margaret Mead Elementary, and an expanded Juanita High School. The district is also remodeling the Old Redmond Schoolhouse to use as a preschool, but that project will not be complete until fall 2020.
