Volunteers Needed for LINKS Lunch Buddy program!

Do you have one hour a week you can share with a child? Become a LINKS Lunch Buddy mentor! Mentors come during school hours once a week and spend the lunch hour in a pre-assigned area to eat, play games, make crafts, talk and do other agreed-upon activities. Help us provide social-emotional support to elementary students who need a little extra one-on-one attention. The Lunch Buddy program is in 15 elementary schools: Clara Barton, Einstein, Ella Baker, Franklin, Juanita Elementary, Keller, Mead, Muir, Redmond Elementary, Rose Hill Elementary, Rush, Sandburg, Smith, Thoreau, and Twain. Upcoming orientation dates are November 26, December 4, December 16 and January 8.

The November 26th class is 5 - 7 p.m. and will be held at the District Resource Center - Sammamish Room.
