What's Up: Rent, RASP, and Little Women in and Around Redmond

There are plenty of cultural events in and around Redmond this weekend, beginning Friday, July 26.

Redmond is brimming with culture this weekend, starting today, Friday, July 26, with three events so awesome you'll have a hard time deciding how to divvy up your time.

Redmond Association of Spoken Poetry (RASP) hosts Peggy Barnett from 7-9 p.m. as part of its reading series, with open mic poetry to follow at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse. Get all the details here.

CORE Theatrics opens its production of Rent at Lake Washington High School in Kirkland. The show runs Fridays and Saturdays this weekend and next, and is R-rated, so the group recommends attendees be 16 years old and older. More information on tickets and show times can be found here.

Second Story Rep's Little Women: The Musical begins tonight in Redmond, and plays this weekend and next, with matinees and evening shows. Find out more about the show and ticket prices here.
