Ex-Boyfriend Pleads Guilty in Death of Jessica Scholl

The Renton Reporter on Thursday reports that Jarod Thomas Lane, accused of killing his former girlfriend Jessica Scholl, has pleaded guilty to charges of first-degree murder and first-degree arson.

According to investigators, Lane killed Scholl at her family's home in Renton and then set fire to the house in May 2012. He was taken into custody three days later in Oklahoma City.
