Free Meals For Kids In King County: Where To Go In Renton

Community organizations are giving out free breakfast and lunch to kids under 18 all summer at over 200 sites in King County.

RENTON, WA — When students leave school for summer break, many young people lose out on the opportunity to get nutritious meals. But local school districts and other community organizations are stepping up to fill that gap, offering free meals to kids under 18 at parks and community locations across the county this summer.

Here's where and when you can get meals near you, according to the United Way of King County:

Lunch hours noon to 12:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
