Filling out your census form online, by mail or phone will reduce the number of doors field workers will have to knock on in the coming months. Lessening follow up home visits by US Census Bureau workers can diminish coronavirus spread.

You can help reduce this contagion by filling out your census form online, on the phone or by mail now. Join the 11 million US households who have completed Census 2020 as of Wednesday. Because of the coronavirus outbreak, the City of Renton has cancelled all census outreach events. That's why we need you to get yours done now and help remind your family, friends and social network to do likewise.

This past week you've received mail from the US Census Bureau with a code to fill out your Census 2020 form. Completing it is a small thing you can do that will safeguard US Census workers, who are neighbors temporarily hired from our local community. You can minimize the number of doors they have to knock on because of unresponsive households and lessen their risk.
