MereandPear Shines a Light on Renton and Beyond
Mother daughter duo Swannee and Paris combined their skillset during the COVID 19 crisis to develop a way to support local businesses.
We are the mother/daughter duo Swannee and Paris and together we have been writing our blog since early 2020. As Renton, WA. Residents we came up with this concept after COVID 19 wreaked havoc upon our lives and businesses everywhere. Mere (French word for mother,) and Pear (nickname for Paris as a child,) became our name- simple enough. As an established author I (Swannee) had a passion for researching and writing about local businesses and events. Paris, studying Computer Science at the University of Washington became intrigued with the possibility of utilizing analytical data to bring about changes in the community. As a team we are able to use our expertise, share resources, investigate, and present a wide range of information about things that matter. Entertainment, products, restaurants and more. If it is on your radar, we can guarantee it is on ours as well.
