Power Restored After Outage Affects 2,300+ In Renton

A Puget Sound Energy outage briefly left more than 2,300 customers without power in Renton on Tuesday afternoon.

RENTON, WA — More than 2,300 in Renton were without power Tuesday afternoon due to a Puget Sound Energy outage south of the Highlands Park area. PSE reported the outage shortly at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday and provided an initial estimate to restore power within two hours.

The utility's online map showed several blocks around Renton Technical College were affected by the outage. Power was restored to the area within an hour.
