Renton Chamber Of Commerce Selects New CEO

Lynn Wallace comes to the Renton Chamber of Commerce with nearly two decades of chamber experience.

With nearly 20 years of chamber experience, several of them in south King County, Lynn Wallace has been announced as the new President/CEO of the Renton Chamber of Commerce.

Wallace comes to the Renton Chamber after two years of serving as President/CEO of the Southwest King County Chamber of Commerce.

“Lynn is a very qualified individual, and will make a great addition to an already great staff,” said past Renton Chamber Board Chair Jason Parker. “I am really looking forward to the future.”

Wallace will fill the shoes of . Sabrina Mirante has served as the interim chamber president for the last eight months.

Lynn began her Chamber career in 1984 at the Lewiston, ID Chamber as the Operations Manager. While in Lewiston, Lynn worked with a dedicated team to increase chamber membership and finances to an all-time high. Following the job in Lewiston, Lynn moved to Astoria, OR to fill the position of Chamber Executive Director. Working in Astoria provided an opportunity for Lynn to develop a tourism and marketing plan for the community as the industries of Timber and fishing dwindled.

Finally landing in Washington State, Lynn spent 10 years as the President/CEO of the Eastern Pierce County Chamber. Representing the cities of Puyallup and Sumner, the Chamber broke records reaching a membership level of 1,000 members under Lynn’s leadership. The Chamber also managed the Puyallup Farmers Market, which grew the operation to become the third largest market in Washington.

Lynn also has seven years of experience in hospitality as Assistant General Manager of the Best Western Park Plaza in Puyallup.

Lynn has been married to her husband John for 28 years and has one son, Christopher. She also currently serves as President of PEO Chapter IY in Puyallup. In her spare time Lynn attends all Seahawks home games (a 20-year season ticket holder!), stays busy with two energetic dogs, and never finds enough time to get on the golf course.
