Richard Sherman, Seahawks Players Give Christmas Gifts To Local Families

RENTON, WA - Richard Sherman and Doug Baldwin were among the Seahawks players who gathered Monday night at the team's training facility here to give out gifts, autographs, and many wonderful memories to local families.

Sherman's Blanket Coverage Foundation gives out gifts each Christmas to needy families. This year's event reached more than 25 local families, according to Fox Q13.

Blanket Coverage does more than just give out Christmas gifts. Sherman created the foundation in 2013 to get school supplies into the hands of students in low-income communities. The organization holds a number of fundraisers and charity events throughout the year, including an annual celebrity softball game.
