New Work Lofts Project In Issaquah Starts Soon
The construction will affect parts of Gilman Boulevard and the Rainier Trail.

ISSAQUAH, WA - Work on the Issaquah Studio Lofts project will start soon, according to city officials. Construction will affect Gilman Boulevard and a section of the Rainier Trail near 4th Avenue Northwest.

Construction is now starting on the Issaquah Studio Lofts, located at 160 NW Gilman Boulevard, at the intersection of Gilman Boulevard and the Rainier Trail.

Crews will be building a four-story, mixed-use building, comprised of work lofts above ground floor retail, and 71 on-site, covered parking spaces.
Project activities begin October 26 with pile driving for the foundation. Other work will include demolition; site clearing; soil improvement work; grading; utility work; foundations; framing; paving and trail reconstruction; and landscaping. Minimal temporary lane closures along Gilman Boulevard and re-routing a section of the Rainier Trail are anticipated during construction.

Typical work hours will be from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays. Saturday work will require special permits. No work will be allowed on Sundays or holidays. Completion is estimated for end of 2019.
