Driver Injured In Crash After Rock Thrown Onto Interstate 90: WSP
Troopers said a driver heading east on I-90 in Seattle was hit by a rock Monday night and crashed into a barrier.

SEATTLE — A driver was injured on Interstate 90 in Seattle late Monday after someone threw a rock from a construction area, according to Washington State Patrol. Troopers said the driver of a black Dodge Challenger was driving eastbound, near Ranier Avenue South, around 11:15 p.m. when they were hit in the face by the rock, then crashed into a barrier.
This is a vehicle that was struck by a rock thrown from the construction area EB 90 near Rainier at 11:15pm last night.. As KIRO 7 reports, troopers have been investigating other recent reports of things thrown onto highways earlier in the month, including in Mercer Island. For Monday's incident, troopers have yet to pinpoint a suspect and encourage anyone with information to contact them at 425-401-7742.
