Evergreen Academy Students Donate Food and Holiday Cards

Students at Evergreen Academy Elementary School donated food to benefit local families and created handmade holiday cards for seniors

Students at Evergreen Academy Elementary School in Bothell recently held a food drive and collected dozens of items for the Families Helping Families Food Bank at Woodin Elementary School. Students and their families collected a variety of essential items to donate, including canned food, cereal, toiletries, soap, baby wipes and more to benefit local children and families in need. Students also worked together to create more than 70 Thanksgiving cards for residents at Brittany Park Senior Living. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.

The Families Helping Families Food Bank at Woodin Elementary School strives to ensure that every student and family in the community has the food, toiletries and resources needed to thrive. Brittany Park is a senior living community offering independent and assisted living services in Woodinville.
